This is what I do before I happily go to work on my 36th birthday:
It occurs to me that we are governed, as are all things, by patterns. These patterns were set and grew from the very first stirrings of the universe and from them all things evolved, necessarily limited in micro-expression, but boundless in potential-expression. In spiral patterns, as in leaf of fern, it is easily observed that the geometry of the outer curve leads the small fronds reeling back on themselves, as water breaks from the backs of waves, thrown off and yet yearning to join a new body, in an unceasing continuation and renewal of the old.It just goes on and on…though we see that it doesn’t…that patterns can be broken, a reed thrown into an eddy stirs the water, creating whirlpools and waves, diversions and collisions. That is all it takes to change a river forever.Nothing stays the same, but we do tend to move in certain ways and even the breaks in pattern are governed by laws that determine their movement and presentation.(…I can’t wait to get to the part when I link neurodivergence to universal forces of specied regulation and evolution…it just so happens that there are lots and lots of people drawing these same conclusions…as with all things, understanding tends to rise in waves.)

Have a beautiful July 20th, All. ♥ ♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I was going to give myself 36 facebook hearts for my birthday, but 9 is close enough.
